Green Ball Squad
Junior squad tennis lessons 10-13yrs
The Green Ball Squad is for players aged between 10yrs to 13yrs who would like to fast track their tennis game.
As Squad Coaching has different drilling and match play scenarios than Group and Private Coaching, players are boosted to ensure they are playing better competitive tennis.
Players are placed into groups of similar ability and each group is coached differently, taking into account the groups age, stage of tennis development and skill sets.
The Squad Coaching program includes:
- Stroke production with Excel Tennis Director / High Performance Coach Marcus Petrou
- Footwork / movement training
- Drilling to consolidate technique and match play patterns
- Match play with tactical awareness around point construction and strategy
- Tennis etiquette and sportsmanship
- 75min lessons
- Max. 6 per group
- Full court
- Green low compression ball is used which is 25% slower than a normal ball
- 25, 26 & 27 inch racquets
