Yellow Ball Squad
Squad tennis lessons 13-17yrs
The Yellow Ball Squad program is designed for players aged 13 to 17 years who are training regularly and want a more demanding coaching environment.
Squad sessions differ from group and private coaching by placing greater emphasis on technical refinement, tactical awareness, and structured match play. Players are grouped by ability, and sessions are adapted to suit the age, stage of development, and goals of each group.
This program is well suited to players preparing for competition, tournaments, or those seeking a higher training load in a structured setting.
Program Focus

Stroke production and technical development under the guidance of Excel Tennis Director and High Performance Coach Marcus Petrou

Footwork and movement training to support balance, recovery, and court positioning

Drilling designed to consolidate technique and match play patterns

Structured match play with an emphasis on point construction and tactical decision making

Program Fees
$40 per session
Enrolments operate on a per-term basis (typically 9 weeks).
Invoices are calculated based on the number of scheduled lessons within each term.
(Pro-rata applies if joining after the term has commenced.)
New Enrolments – Term Coaching
We recommend enrolling online as early as possible.
No payment is required until placement is confirmed.
- Current players are offered priority re-enrolment into the following term.
- Waitlist participants are contacted first when new enrolments open.
- Remaining places are then released to the public.
If your preferred class is currently full, we will offer the closest suitable alternative or place you on the waitlist.
