3. Missed Class Policy
We understand absences happen. This policy ensures fairness and consistency for all players, parents and coaches.
Junior & Adult Group Coaching / Cardio Tennis / Squad Programs
- Missed lessons are non-refundable.
- To be eligible for a make-up, the Missed Class Form must be submitted at least 24 hours before the start time of the scheduled session. This is essential to allow us the opportunity to offer your place to another participant requiring a make-up lesson.
- A maximum of two (2) make-up sessions may be provided per term.
- Make-ups are subject to class availability and must be used within the same term.
- Make-ups cannot be transferred to other terms or players.
- Make-ups are provided as a courtesy, not an entitlement. Your regular class spot is reserved exclusively for you.
Private Coaching
- Missed lessons are non-refundable.
- To be eligible for a make-up, the Missed Class Form must be submitted at least 24 hours before the start time of the scheduled session. This is essential to allow us the opportunity to offer your place to another participant.
- Lessons cancelled by participants with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged in full. Another family member may attend in place of the original participant.
- A maximum of two (2) make-up sessions may be provided per term at a mutually agreed time, unless an alternative arrangement has been made in advance.
- Lessons cancelled by Excel Tennis will be rescheduled at a mutually agreed time.
Semi-Private Coaching:
- Missed lessons are non-refundable.
- To be eligible for a make-up, the Missed Class Form must be submitted by both participants at least 24 hours before the start time of the scheduled session. This is essential to allow us the opportunity to offer your place to another participant.
- If only one participant can’t make the session and submits the Missed Class Form at least 24 hours before the start time of the scheduled session, the lesson proceeds with the other participant, and no make-up is offered.
- Lessons cancelled by both participants with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged in full.
- A maximum of two (2) make-up sessions may be provided per term at a mutually agreed time, unless an alternative arrangement has been made in advance.
- Lessons cancelled by Excel Tennis will be rescheduled at a mutually agreed time.
Holiday Program Coaching
- Missed sessions are non-refundable.
- To be eligible for a make-up, the Missed Class Form must be submitted at least 48 hours before the start time of the scheduled session.
- Make-ups are subject to availability and may be scheduled:
- Within the same Holiday Program week (for Day Bookings), or
- In a future Holiday Program within 12 months.
- Make-ups are provided as a courtesy, not an entitlement. Your booked session reserves a place that cannot be offered to others.
