4. Weather Policy
On days of extreme weather, our coaches will do everything possible to make the courts safe and available for play. If you have not heard from us, please always assume the lesson is on. Please do not call us.
Junior Group Coaching & Holiday Programs
For our Junior Group Coaching & Holiday Programs, if the courts or weather are deemed unsafe for play by Excel Tennis (e.g. courts flooded, extreme heat), we will take the lesson in the undercover / indoor area. Please always turn up.
Adult Group Coaching / Cardio Tennis / Squad Programs / Private Coaching
For our Adult Group Coaching / Cardio Tennis / Squad Programs / Private Coaching Programs, if the courts or weather are deemed unsafe for play by Excel Tennis (e.g. courts flooded, extreme heat, participants will be sent a text message to postpone the coaching lesson. We always aim to give as much notice as possible, however with Melbourne weather it will sometimes depend on when we know.
Excel Tennis reserves the sole right to determine whether conditions are safe for play. Lessons cancelled due to weather will be made up at a time determined by Excel Tennis. If a make-up option is offered and declined, no credit or refund will be provided. Only if Excel Tennis is unable to offer a make-up option will a credit be applied to the following term.
